In the last 10 years, multi-rater or "360
degree" feedback has emerged as a powerful
tool for assessment, development and customer
involvement. CLS designs internet-based 360-degree-feedback
surveys and feedback processes to assist in your
employee development initiatives.
While 360-degree feedback can be a powerful tool
for leadership and management development, it
is essential that feedback be collected in an
efficient and effective manner. CLS designs more
effective 360-degree feedback processes that are
focused, efficient and self-managed, and provide
helpful feedback.
Focused. CLS develops targeted surveys
that efficiently collect data on critical dimensions
or competencies. Rather than using a broad-brush
approach based on generic leadership competencies
that may or may not impact your organization,
we work with you to measure only those leadership
competencies that are critical for your organization
and its future success. Our 360-degree surveys
typically include 60-75 items, and require 15-20
minutes to complete.
Efficient and self-managed. CLS surveys
are paperless and self-managed. Feedback recipients
are in charge of managing their own feedback process
through an internet-based system. After receiving
appropriate approvals, they log on to the survey
site, and receive detailed instructions on how
to initiate and manage their feedback process.
The system even provides sample memos to use when
requesting feedback from others.
Helpful feedback. If you choose to deliver
feedback in small group sessions, the online survey
process can tie survey deadlines to your session
timing. Alternatively, we can set up a system
in which individuals receive approval to initiate
surveys on an ad hoc basis. The feedback report
provided to individuals is comprehensive and designed
to provide an accessible overview of the results
along with frequency charts and break-downs that
give individuals the chance to really dig in an
understand their feedback.
