Ben
Porter leads CLS's executive assessment, coaching,
and learning practices. He has over 20 years of
"real world" executive development experience,
holding executive- level positions with Fortune
50 multinational companies. He led Lockheed Aerospace's
total quality effort and was Director of Organization
Effectiveness for Amoco, where he worked closely
with the chairman to design and implement the
company's organization-wide renewal process. Later,
as Vice President of Organization and Leadership
Development for PepsiCo, Ben was responsible for
implementing a variety of systems to build worldwide
leadership for PepsiCo. Prior to forming the Center
For Leadership Solutions, he was Chief Learning
Officer and Vice President of Organization and
Leadership Development for AlliedSignal, where
he led a variety of organization-wide change initiatives.
He has earned a BA in Organization Behavior and
an MA in Human Resource Development from Brigham
Young University and has completed several years
of doctoral work in Applied Behavioral Science
from the University of Southern California.
Ben's clients include such world-class companies
as AlliedSignal, Honeywell, The Home Depot, General
Motors, Nortel Networks, Johnson & Johnson,
Ingersoll-Rand, Avery Dennison, and The Royal
Bank of Canada. He currently runs the Executive
Development Programs for Honeywell and General
Motors, has coached numerous senior-level executives,
and has delivered hundreds of executive development
training programs. He offers consulting and training
services in Executive Learning, Change Management,
Executive Assessment, Development and Coaching,
Building Leadership Talent and Team Effectiveness.
